EXAMPLE OF A GOOD FOOD COMBINING DAY

Breakfast

Option #1: Mono meal of fruit e.g. watermelon or mangoes

Option #2: Smoothie with leafy greens, mango, banana and coconut water

Option #3: Smoothie with leafy greens, avocado, berries and water

Lunch

Option #1: Salad with mixed greens, tomatoes, avocado, mustard + apple cider vinegar dressing

Option #2: Quinoa salad with raw/cooked veggies, tahini + lemon juice dressing

Dinner

Option #1: Arugula salad with raw/cooked veggies topped with a baked sweet potato and avocado

Option #2: Brown rice and cooked vegetables

Snacks

Option #1: Carrot and zucchini sticks with guacamole

Option #2: Celery sticks with almond butter

  3. I strongly recommend drinking fresh mint tea (like we do in Morocco) everyday, mint is a miracle to digestion system, so even when we eat a bad combination of foods, mint helps. I don’t recommend the prepared mint lipton-style T-bags because that mint is dried and processed and often has additives to it. I have planted mint in a little pot when I moved to California, and mint grows faster abundantly, no need to buying it from the store, just one time effort.

  6. Hi, thanks for all the info. I've heard that nuts or beans combined with whole grains make a complete protein. As a vegan this is important for me but I've also heard to the contrary. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

  11. I've watched a video by that vegan couple about it and my digestion is horrible. I fall asleep after eating certain foods together, and then wake up with severe anxiety, heart palpitations, a migraine, sound and light sensitivities. 🙁 I'm wanting to just eat bananas all day, then eat potatoes at night. Is this ok? Oh I also had my gallbladder removed in June :/

  12. As far as I know, fats DO NOT mix with Starches! Careful people, double check your sources.

  14. Thank you. After looking at this it is finally making little bit more sense. I still dont know what goes into some sub-groups. Will need to write all the foods I eat and then see what goes where….question..how about rice or almond milk or soya milk? can I have that with granola? And still trying to figure out what I can have with cheese. Thank you

  17. holy f….lol i've been mixing sweet fruits with tbs of flax seed oil every morning and was wondering why after 2 weeks i got bloated and heartburn after eating proteins…..ty so much
