  9. What? Serial a good source of vitamin D? Then it sounds like something I don't think I need…

  10. I have severe B12 deficiency. I'm a vegetarian since… 1999-2000… But i'm not vegan so I thought I didn't have that level of deficiency. I have many orthopedic issues like stress fractures, tendinites… maybe this problems are related to the deficiency. Am I right?

  11. In general, as per usual, your information is thorough. However, these guidlines would be different for vegetarians and vegans, correct? I am a vegan, due to allergy and dietary health issues (eating meat severely aggrivates my G.E.R.D and I'm allergic to eggs and milk) , and I would love to hear more about vitamin intake from that perspective, especially since I cannot get B12 from animal products.

  12. What is your opinion on protein powders and other workout supplements? Do you use them?

  13. Thank you for this informative video. I definitely prefer to get all of the necessary vitamins through natural means (i.e. food). Although, in recent years I have been taking vitamin supplements through a doctor's care because I have had years of my life in which my diet was extremely poor and have even been malnutritional, mostly as a child. I have an excellent diet now and am working towards getting off of the supplements. My husband and children, however, don't need the extra supplements and are doing quite well on as their diet and lifestyles are healthy.

  14. I had a big b12 deficiency! I started losing my hair, I lost to much to weight and to quickly and I was always tired and my doc new right away and did blood work and he couldn’t believe how low my b12 and potassium were. So I had to be put on supplements. I got back on track and don’t take them anymore lol

  15. We need vitamins but your argument is taking them in supplement form

  16. Oh no, the advert at the beginning of this video was for a supplement myreon or something aha

  17. Doc, do you plan on writing a book one day?

  18. Hi Dr. Mike! I have a question. Someone recommended me to use a light box for 30 minutes a day this winter to help with my depression. Does that actually work or is it hogwash?

  19. What a fucken idiot, stuff yourself with super expensive $40 a kilo, heavy metal filled, disease causing animal products instead of taking a vitamin pill. Somebody give this quack an uppercut.

  20. My sister's doctor required her to take vitamin D in a form of medicines + sun exposure before operating. She has a tumor in the pancreas and she has to finish her medicines before the operation. what do you think?

  21. I remember that when I was sick my mum would give me alot of vitamin C but it would make me nauseous especially in the morning

  22. too much intake of vitamin will lead to vitamin toxicity but vitamin deficiency may also occurs if we're lacking in nutrients. and I am in the horns of dilemma. I mean that it will also be overwhelming to calculate the nutritional content of the food that we eat. so for the two types of vitamins. should we also find balances to consumed them? also, is there any specific vitamins that our body constantly or need the most?
